The Buffalo Bills are without question one of the biggest disappointments of the 2015 NFL season. That being said, which five of their players were the most disappointing for them throughout the year?
1. Percy Harvin, Wide Receiver
Perhaps the most obvious choice for the most disappointing player of the year award goes to wide receiver Percy Harvin. He dealt with injuries once again this season, which has plagued him throughout his entire career. Buffalo was hoping he could bounce back this year, but he ended up catching just 19 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown.
2. E.J. Manuel, Quarterback
Heading into the 2015 season, E.J. Manuel was expected to be the starting quarterback. That obviously didn't end up happening, which obviously makes him a major disappointment as well. Tyrod Taylor is without question the starter looking into the future and Manuel's roster spot is without question in jeopardy heading into the offseason.
3. Jerry Hughes, Defensive End
Jerry Hughes was given a fairly large contract with the expectation that he would have a huge season in 2015. He didn't end up having that happen, as he racked up 52 tackles, 5.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. Those numbers may not look awful and he is on the fringe of this list, but the lack of pass rush was a bit of a disappointment.
4. Charles Clay, Tight End
Charles Clay is without question one of the biggest disappointments on the offensive side of the football for the Bills. He ended up catching 51 passes for 528 yards and three touchdowns. Those numbers are without question lower than what he was expected to put up, but the production he ended up having wasn't up to par.
5. Mario Williams, Defensive End
Another defensive end that deserves to be on this list is Mario Williams, who could very well get cut this offseason. Williams ended up totaling just 19 tackles and five sacks on the season. Buffalo can't be happy with that at all and there are major question marks about what his future holds.
