Baltimore Ravens: 5 Biggest Disappointing Players Throughout the 2015 NFL Season

The Baltimore Ravens were one of the most injured teams throughout the course of the 2015 NFL season. It was a disappointing season, but there were five particular players that were also disappointments.

1. Joe Flacco, Quarterback

Perhaps the biggest disappointment and without question the biggest injury was quarterback Joe Flacco. He ended the season with a 64.4 completion percentage for 2,791 yards, 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Those numbers weren't good at all to begin with, but adding in his season ending prematurely makes Flacco a fit for this list.

2. Maxx Williams, Tight End

Baltimore was hoping that Maxx Williams could step up as a rookie this season. That didn't end up happening, as he caught just 32 passes for 268 yards and a touchdown. Williams was a definite disappointment this season, but there is no doubt that he has a good chance to bounce back in his sophomore NFL season.

3. Terrell Suggs, Linebacker

Veteran linebacker Terrell Suggs was yet another key injury that the Ravens had to deal with this season. He didn't get to play a single game this season and Baltimore obviously missed him. Suggs wasn't necessarily a "disappointment" this season, but not having him this season put him on the disappointment list.

4. Justin Forsett, Running Back

Justin Forsett ended his season early with a broken leg as well, but the season he had before the injury wasn't stellar either. He carried the football 151 times for 641 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers were not what the Ravens were looking for after his breakout season in 2014 and Forsett has a major rebound to do in 2016.

5. Elvis Dumervil, Defensive End

While Elvis Dumervil didn't have a terrible season, he didn't have a dominant season like the Ravens were hoping for. He ended up compiling 48 total tackles, 6.0 sacks and a forced fumble. Obviously those numbers aren't too bad, but they certainly didn't live up to the hype that he built for himself during the 2014 season with the Ravens.
