Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers finished their 2015 NFL season with a 26-20 overtime loss at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals in the playoffs. He was one of the top players on the team, but who were the other best players on the roster this season?
1. Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback
Obviously as we already mentioned Aaron Rodgers was the best player on the team in 2015 even though he did struggle at times. He still completed 60.7 percent of his pass attempts for 3,821 yards, 31 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. Rodgers is still the best quarterback in the NFL and the Packers should look forward to 2016 with a healthy Jordy Nelson.
2. Jordy Nelson, Wide Receiver
Is it that shocking that Jordy Nelson would make it onto this list even though he didn't play a single game in the 2015 season? Certainly not and he is very deserving of this spot. After seeing how rough the offense was this season without his presence on the field, it is obvious that Nelson is one of reasons for the Packers' offensive success and will continue to be just that.
3. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety
Another obvious choice for this list has to be second-year safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. He was the quarterback of the Green Bay defense and was one of the top defensive backs in the entire NFL. Clinton-Dix recorded 100 total tackles to go along with three sacks, a forced fumble, two interceptions and three defensed passes.
4. Julius Peppers, Linebacker
Julius Peppers put together an impressive all-around season for the Packers and is more than deserving of being ranked as one of the top-five Packers in 2015. He racked up 37 tackles, 10.5 sacks and two forced fumbles on the season and was a pass rushing specialist. Peppers may not be back in 2016 depending on what decision he makes, but 2015 was a great year for him.
5. Damarious Randall, Defensive Back
This list would not be complete without rookie defensive back Damarious Randall being noticed for the stellar play that he showed in his first NFL season. He came through with 58 tackles, three interceptions, a defensive touchdown and 14 defensed passes. Randall is going to be a huge part of the Green Bay secondary for years to come and the Packers have to feel very good about their decision to draft him.
