Cleveland Browns Rumors: QB Johnny Manziel Appears to Be Done with Browns

The Cleveland Brown rumors are beginning to swirl and it appears that quarterback Johnny Manziel appears to be done with the team. He went AWOL this past week and that could be his final mistake with the Browns.

It appeared that Manziel had figured things out last offseason when he checked himself into rehab. He seemed to realize that he had a problem and took small steps to get it fixed. That obviously wasn't the case, however, as the problem continued through the 2015 season and he showed no remorse for the issues.

According to a report from CBS, the Browns are done waiting for Manziel to turn things around and it appears that he would like to play for the Dallas Cowboys next.

Manziel did appear to have improved his game this season with the Browns in limited playing time. He looked more in control of the offense and his arm had obviously taken a step forward.

Throughout the course of the 2015 season, Manziel put up solid all-around numbers. He completed 57.8 percent of his passes for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns, while also throwing five interceptions. Manziel also picked up 230 yards on the ground.

At 23 years old, there is no quetion that Manziel can turn things around at some point in his career. He has to figure out how to get his off-the-field issues under control. Cleveland will have a hard time trading him for any value and cutting him likely isn't the answer for the franchise either.

Needless to say, the future looks extremely dull for Manziel after his latest off-the-field problem.

Expect to see Manziel with another team next season barring a major change. Cleveland just fired both Mike Pettine and Ray Farmer, which means a completely new decision-making team. That could either hurt or help Manziel, but his partying has to stop.
