Ranking the Five NFL QB's Who Could Be Traded in the 2016 NFL Offseason

Looking ahead at the upcoming 2016 NFL offseason, which five NFL quarterbacks could be traded? What kind of return could their current teams be looking for in return for them?

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

There is a good chance that the Saints could look to move on from the aging Drew Brees this coming offseason. He has meant so much to the franchise, but dealing him to a team looking to contend and getting a hefty price back would be in their best interests. New Orleans would likely be asking for a first or second-round pick in return for Brees, but that is a more than reasonable asking price.

Johnny Manziel, Cleveland Browns

Mike Pettine and the Browns are simply not sold on Johnny Manziel being their long-term starting quarterback. There is a good chance that they would trade him this coming offseason for the right offer. Cleveland would likely want a second or third rounder to move him if he continues playing good football to end the season, but the price could end up being cheaper.

Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins

Yet another disappointing young player that could be traded this coming offseason is Robert Griffin III. He has sat out the entire season thus far with Kirk Cousins making the starts. Griffin is going to get some trade interest, especially since the Redskins are expected to be asking a very small price in return for him.

Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears

At this point in time, the Bears are not as desperate to trade Jay Cutler as they were last season but would likely still entertain the idea. They have a chance to get a new quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft, which could lead to a trade involving Cutler. Chicago wouldn't give him away, but they would likely be interested in a third-round pick if they can get rid of his contract.

Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco was forced to bench Colin Kaepernick earlier this season due to his poor play. There have been rumors ever since the benching that the 49ers would be willing to trade him at the right price this coming offseason. Kaepernick would take a mid-round pick more than likely, although it will all depend on whether the 49ers truly believe that Kaepernick is done.
