WWE Battleground Recap Part 1: Fandango Vs. Adam Rose Funkadactyls Get Funky

Last night's Pay-Per-View WWE Battleground was a solid night of rasslin', and some pretty good storytelling, too. As always, no PPV event is perfect, but it was a solid step toward SummerSlam next month. The pre-show "kickoff" featured two matches and a wealth of video segments and predictions from announcers and analysts, per usual, but it was definitely worth tuning in early because Adam Rose showed up with his Exotic Express, on his birthday no less! He squared off against Fandango, who has been having all manner of women troubles. Also, in the Divas division, former Funkadactyls partners Cameron and Naomi finally faced each other after their nasty split a few weeks ago. And they got funky!

Now, after months of binge-watching TV and attending Cubs games and Blackhawks matches, he is ready to get back to work. Not in the ring, but he's going to do something. According to the latest buzz on Twitter, the retired wrestler is going to start a band (maybe). With his wife back at WWE after rumors that she was pregnant, Punk has got to figure out something to pass the time. And don't miss the action following WWE Main Event tonight on the WWE Network, when Punk will be the subject of a brand new documentary, debuting at 9pm Eastern.
