Stephanie McMahon Replacing Retired Vince As Corporate Villain In WWE, Heel Role Natural Fit In The Authority

Despite a perceived lull in vitality from Stephanie McMahon as the face of the WWE front office she is unquestionably back with a vengeance. Now that the "Mr. McMahon" character has essentially retired, Vince can concentrate on overseeing operations without having to worry about cutting promos and being crapped on by rebellious Superstars. He can leave that job to Stephanie. Replacing Vince as the corporate villain in her role as half of The Authority isn't easy, but Stephanie has dived right in as of late (literally, on RAW last week). There's a new McMahon playing the top heel, and she's wearing heels.

Young and attractive, but with a business acumen as good as her old man's, Stephanie is emerging as a natural fit as Vince's successor. She's got the same ambition too- to take over the world (via Wrestling Inc.):

"WWE continues to grow and expand at a rate faster than anyone can possibly imagine. We have over 360 million social media followers, and we have over 12 million downloads of our app. But I have to say, even given all that, we're just getting warmed up."

After what some would say was a lackluster run as the evil boss for the last few years, Stephanie has turned up the juice. For all those who say she had gotten lazy and started phoning it in, they at least have to respect the recent Vickie Guerrero angle (via Bleacher Report):

"She was brilliant. Not only did she make an absolute fool of herself singing and dancing, but she was willing to be thrown into a vat of pudding that the announcers were implying was sewage for some reason. Stephanie played it to the hilt, going in face first, rolling around and throwing a tantrum worthy of Mr. McMahon."
