The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots are set to face off in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Peyton Manning Breaks Out with a Big Game in the Clutch
This could very well be the last playoff game that Peyton Manning ever plays in his superstar career. He is facing Tom Brady once again and he will live up to the challenge. Manning will break out with a huge game in yet another clutch situation and will give his Broncos a chance to pull out the win and advance to the Super Bowl.
2. Tom Brady Matches Peyton Manning for Yet Another Chess Match
Throughout their careers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have had many games that have come down to the wire. Brady has had some huge performances and that will not stop this season. It could very well be the last time that these two teams match up in the playoffs and Brady is not going to take any chances of being outdown by his rival.
3. Denver's Defense Sacks Tom Brady at Least Five Times
Denver has one of the top defenses in the NFL and that is going to show this week against New England. The only way to get Brady out of his comfort zone is by putting pressure on him and that is exactly what the Broncos are going to try and do. They will end up recording at least five sacks on Brady throughout the course of the game.
4. Rob Gronkowski Shines and Dominates Once Again
While the Broncos have an impressive all-around defense, they don't have anyone that is going to stop Rob Gronkowski. New England will have to utilize Gronkowski early and often this week and he will respond well. Gronkowski will shine and dominate the Denver defense and will help give the Patriots a good shot to pull out a win.
5. Bill Belichick and the Patriots Pull Out the Win
As has been the case during most Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning matchups in the postseason, the Patriots will get the job done. New England may not have the defense that Denver has, but their offense will find a way to get things done. It should be a very entertaining game, but our money is on the Patriots advancing to yet another Super Bowl.
