Game Prediction: Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers are two of the more productive quarterbacks in the game this season and will face off this afternoon in a key NFC matchup. Carolina is still undefeated this year and has shown no sign of slowing down. Green Bay is coming off of a beatdown against the Denver Broncos last week and are going to come out motivated and angry today.
After being blown out last week, the Packers are going to come out and play more motivated football than they have played all season long. That alone should scare the Panthers and their fan base.
Eddie Lacy needs to step up in a big way for Green Bay this week and come through with a big game on the ground. He hasn't been the same this season and has struggled mightily. Randall Cobb, James Jones and Davante Adams have to figure out ways to step up and get separation from the Panthers' secondary as well.
Newton and the Panthers have to pound the football on the ground against the Green Bay defense. Whether Newton takes the carries or if Jonathan Stewart gets them, they have to establish the ground game early. Greg Olsen will also be a major key for the Panthers and will be Newton's No. 1 target through the air.
This is going to be one of the best games in the NFL this week and there are many reasons to believe that this game will come down to the wire.
Green Bay is going to get our bet after being blown out last week and the anger that they will be playing with. Rodgers was embarrased last week and he will not allow that to happen again.
