‘Zelda Wii U’ DLC and Release Date Rumors, ‘Hyrule Warriors’ Gameplay Trailer Update 2014 [VIDEO]

Besides for a remake of the Gamecube classic, 'Wind Waker,' the Wii U has been lacking in the 'Legend of Zelda' department. However, that will all change soon. Everyone’s favorite pointy eared, pot breaking, sword swinging, grass cutting hero, Link, will soon be featured in three new titles on the system. There is of course his role in the battle game, 'Super Smash Bros,' coming out this winter, but that is not all. Link and friends will tackle a new style of battle in the 'Dynasty Warriors' crossover game, 'Hyrule Warriors.' Fans got a tiny taste of the all new hack and slash adventure when the first gameplay trailer was released. There is also the upcoming E3 2014 announcement about the future of the main series game. 'Zelda Wii U.' It has been rumored that the new game will include DLC for the first time. Now it is looking like we might finally have a release date for the game.

Now the system is playing on our nostalgia with two big releases this year. You can take a ride down that Rainbow Road once again in the highly anticipated 'Mario Kart 8.' Nintendo has also just released the official trailer for the Wii U and 3DS versions of the long awaited battle royal extravaganza, 'Super Smash Bros.' Could the new versions of old favorites revitalize sales of the struggling system in the same way that 'Titanfall' helped turn things around for the Xbox One?
