After months of tabloid reports claiming that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling will be breaking up, new rumors suggest that Ryan Gosling may be guilty of cheating. The allegations stem from a misleading report published by Cosmopolitan.
The publication recently published article titled "Could Ryang Gosling Be a Cheater?" The only problem is, the article was totally laughable and had absolutely NOTHING to do with Ryan Gosling.
Once users clicked on the salacious link, they were taken to an article written about the most common first names of cheaters, as the publication told readers:
"Even though we flat out refuse to believe it, it looks like Ryan Gosling is probably a cheater.
"A poll of 2000 women conducted by Siteopia.com concluded the name Ryan is number three in the top ten love rat names. The survey asked participants to relive their past exploits, naming and shaming the men who'd cheated on them as well as ranking men's names according to how trustworthy they sounded."
If anyone should be shamed, it's Cosmopolitan for their misleading article title. The article is extremely poor taste, considering Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' relationship has been featured on the cover of nearly every tabloid recently.
While the reasons behind their alleged breakup vary from gossip rag to gossip rag, the general consensus is that their relationship is in peril. One source recently told OK! that the "split" something to do with Ryan's ability to commit:
"For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
