Move over Mr. Incredible, there is a new hero in town. Captain America and the rest of your favorite Marvel Avengers are finally making their way to Disney Infinity. A new trailer has just been released for the new version, Disney Infinity 2.0. It has also been reported that new figures are being made featuring Marvel and Star Wars characters. However, it is not known if the new version of the game will be available for the next gen consoles, Xbox One or PS4.
Finally, Disney Infinity is getting ready to receive some Marvel content. A new trailer has just been released featuring Captain America's shield.
It is unknown at this time if Marvel heroes will be playable characters, complete with figures or if it will simply be a weapons pack, like with the Star Wars lightsaber. However, the 2.0 label, as well as the “Bring on the superheroes” tag line, implies that it will be much more than a simple add on.
It has been speculated that Marvel and Star Wars figures are in the works.
Earlier in the year, Avalanche Software, the makers of Disney Infinity, posted a job offer for a tester of both new and old gen gaming systems. This has lead many to speculate that the company is working on a sequel for all systems.
