The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin’s character is getting ready to pop. Hayley is now eight months pregnant with her werewolf hybrid and that means that her baby bump could disappear any day now. With the due date approaching, Tonkin is opening up about what is in store for her TV family.
Phoebe Tonkin is about to breath some new life into The Originals. The Vampire Diaries spin-off returns with new episodes next week and Tonkin sat down with TV Fanatic where she opened up about what is next for Hayley:
“She’s now in her eighth month of pregnancy. She’s gearing up to learn how to be a mother, and I think that’s really terrifying for her.” But that’s not the only thing on Hayley’s mind! She’s also part of a werewolf family with her newfound kinship with Jackson and the other members of the clan she hadn’t known she was a part of...She’s never had a family, and finally, she’s found this family of werewolves that go back generations and she’s so excited and she really wants to lead them because they really haven’t been seeing good times over the last however many years after Marcel kicked them out of New Orleans, out of the French Quarter. So, I’m really excited to see Hayley take on a more leadership role, which is what we saw in the last episode that aired.”
Tonkin has been keeping track of the character's growing baby bump and even managed to trick some of her real life Twitter followers, by posting the series of “pregnancy” pics on the social media site.
