'Supernatural' has been on the air for almost a decade now and has just been renewed for a tenth season. Adam Glass, one of the show’s writers/executive producers, recently commented on the show’s longevity, calling it the “'Doctor Who' of America.” Just like the Doctor, Glass joked that the show’s stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki should be replaced each year. However, the joke didn’t go over too well and now Glass is paying the price.
