Fast and Furious 7 cast member Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson instantly proved that rumors of his death, were nothing more than hoax fodder, by posting a video of himself mid-workout on Instagram. Great news not only for the Johnson family but the Fast franchise family as well. The film couldn't survive the death of another lead, after losing Paul Walker, whose autopsy revealed was alive after the crash, to a tragic and unexpected car accident.
Thankfully actor and wrestling legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is still very much alive and well despite initial reports to the contrary earlier in the day by Global Associated News.
The dubious publication reported that the Scorpion King met is untimely end after making a fatal pratfall while shooting his latest movie:
"Actor Dwayne Johnson died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning - April 12, 2014.
"Preliminary reports from New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set. Specific details are not yet available.
"The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +12)."
But if that's true The Rock is in incredible shape for a dead guy.
"Key to yelling 'FOCUS' at someone is the head shake & 'f-ck' immediately after. (remember to smile so you don't look like a raving psychopath and get kicked out of the gym) #NoseDiveTheGrind #IronLunatics #SilverbackGame"
That unintelligible rambling clearly doesn't address the hoax in words, but unless The Rock's ghost somehow has his phone and is posting old videos on his Instagram account, the report is definitely bogus.
And thank god; where would show business be without it's Rock?
