Notre Dame Backup Quarterback Everett Golson Will Transfer To Florida State

As a freshman for the University of Notre Dame, Everett Golson led the team to an undefeated season in 2012 and a spot in the National Championship game. After losing the National Championship game to the University of Alabama, Golson ran into academic problems at school and was dismissed from the team for a year. He returned the following season, and towards the end of the year, he became the backup quarterback. With one year of eligibility left and having already graduated, he has decided he will transfer to Florida State University.
