George Clooney Wife Amal Alamuddin and Julia Roberts Fight on Movie Set?

Although it seems a little far-fetched, rumors persist that George Clooney's new wife, Amal Alamuddin, and old friend, Julia Roberts, aren't getting along at all in NYC. According to the latest gossip news updates, Batman's bride keeps dropping by the set of his new movie, Money Monster, to make sure that Julia is behaving herself, and it is driving Danny Moder's Pretty Woman wife crazy. While it is doubtful that Brad Pitt's bestie ever really has to apologize for the human rights lawyer, George did publicly lament his role in Batman & Robin once again during a recent appearance on the UK's Graham Norton Show to promote Tomorrowland.

It can be understandably difficult for some spouses of celebrities to adjust to their significant other going off to work every day and hanging out with the most beautiful people in the world, and word has it that now that Amal Alamuddin is staying in New York City with George Clooney, while he works on a new movie and she teaches at Columbia, she is having an especially hard time sending her husband off to spend the day with Julia Roberts.

A source in the May 18, issue of Life & Style claimed that Amal regularly pops in when she's out of class just to make sure that everything's on the up-and-up and no one is misbehaving:

"Amal has been policing the set of Money Monster...[and] She cannot stand his co-star Julia and the way she steals George's time.

"[But] Julia's an old friend of George's, and they like to hang out."

A friend of Robert's reports in the latest June 1, copy of Star magazine, however, that Julia is aware of Alamuddin's little game and is tired of the toll it's taking on their production schedule:

"Julia tolerated it the first time...but Amal keeps dropping by and interrupting filming.

"Everything grinds to a halt, and it's driving Julia crazy!"

While it seems absolutely comical to claim that Clooney would find himself having to go around apologizing for his beautiful wife, George never minds taking it on the chin for his involvement in the monstrosity known as Batman & Robin.

During a recent visit to the Graham Norton show with his Tomorrowland c-star, George once again said he was sorry for almost killing off the Caped Crusader movie franchise for all time (via BatmanNews):

"I did one film Batman & Robin which was a disaster.

"I always apologize for Batman & Robin.

"Let me just say that I actually thought I had destroyed the franchise...until someone else brought it back years later and changed it."

Perhaps one of the saddest parts of the whole Batman disaster for Clooney was that he was actually desperately banking on the film capturing his career as a movie star at the time.

"But, you know, I thought at the time that this was going to actually be a very good career move...um...it wasn't."

Come on with Clooney constantly telling funny little stories like that, how could anyone stay mad at one another?
