Despite the fact that the supermarket tabloids have been claiming that George Clooney and his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, will soon be divorcing for one reason or another, Batman and his bride have seemed nothing but happy with their relationship when appearing in public. According to the latest gossip news updates, the only issues Danny Ocean and the British beauty have center on syncing up their very busy schedules. Julia Roberts, who is staring with the ER heartthrob in Jodi Foster's new movie, Money Monster, also dispelled rumors that she was feuding with the London lawyer -- telling the media that she was thrilled that her old buddy had convinced Amal to marry him.
While the breakup of George Clooney's marriage to Amal Alamuddin might be the sort of cover story the sells magazines, it couldn't be further from the truth.
During a recent interview with the UK's Mirror, Clooney explained that besides never really having any fights, the only thing ever in conflict in the marriage is their hectic schedules:
"He says: "We've never had a disagreement and we get along really, really well."
"Our adjustments are figuring out our schedules.
"Our deal is neither of us can be more than a week away and so far in general that has worked out pretty well.
"She is a barrister, which means she is independently employed and able to do her job in different places, so we try to move our schedules around to fit in with each other."
Although, George may have been grown use to the Hollywood limelight long ago, one source close to Amal's family insists in the May 25, issue of Star Magazine that the constant desire to please all the new people in her life has Mrs. Clooney feeling a bit more exhausted than usual:
"Between her marriage and her work, they know that sometimes she gives too much of herself to those around her.
"She's a wonderful person, but she needs to look out for her own well-being too -- and especially pay more attention to her own health."
Whatever issues George and Amal may be having to adjust to these days, Julia Roberts told Extra that she though Alamuddin was a win in a million catch -- especially for Clooney (via Us Weekly):
"I met her at dinner.
"George doesn't need my approval, but I'm quite enamored with her."
And that's saying something because Julia Roberts doesn't like anyone -- ever.
