5 Bold Predictions for Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers in NFL Week 14

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers are set to face off against each other in NFL Week 14 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Travis Kelce Records at Least 100 Yards, Two Touchdown Catches

San Diego doesn't have a very good pass defense, which makes tight end Travis Kelce a valuable asset for the Chiefs. Kelce is one of the more underrated players in the NFL and that will show this week. He will record at least 100 yards and two touchdowns throughout the game and will be an absolute beast against the Chargers' defense.

2. Philip Rivers Puts Up Yet Another Massive Performance

Throughout the course of the season, Philip Rivers has been one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He has always been able to put up big numbers, but this season he has been able to do so without having some of his top targets due to injury problems. Rivers will have a big game against the Chiefs this week and should go over 350 yards through the air in addition to three touchdowns.

3. Kansas City Sacks Rivers at Least Five Times

There is no question that Kansas City has one of the better pass rushes in the NFL and that will show this week. Rivers is going to have a big game, but he is also going to be sacked at least five times. Kansas City is going to come after the quarterback early and often throughout the game and the San Diego offensive line will not be able to stop them.

4. Melvin Gordon Racks Up 80+ Yards and First Career Rushing TD

San Diego chose to go with Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Gordon has carried the football 155 times for 565 yards this season, but has yet to score a touchdown. He will score his first career touchdown and will rack up at least 80 yards this week against the Kansas City defense.

5. Kansas City Pulls Out Another Victory to Improve to 8-5

Looking at this game, there aren't many that would disagree that the Chiefs are the better all-around football team. They will pull off the win to improve to 8-5 on the season, while dropping the Chargers to 3-10 in the process. Kansas City should take control of the game early on and coast to a fairly easy victory.
