The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints will face off this Sunday in NFL Week 14 action. What five bold predictions can be made for this game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Jameis Winston Will Throw for at Least 350 Yards, Four Touchdowns
One of the most impressive players this season has been rookie quarterback Jameis Winston. He has been playing an impressive brand of football and he has led Tampa Bay to a 6-6 record. Winston will continue playing impressive football and will throw for at least 350 yards and four touchdowns throughout the course of the game against a weak New Orleans secondary.
2. Drew Brees Matches Winston with Four Touchdowns and 300+ Yards
Drew Brees has been an absolute beast this season for the Saints, even though he doesn't have his top targets from last season. He is going to show off once again this week against a Tampa Bay defense that is more than capable of giving up big numbers. Brees will match Winston's performance this week with at least 300 yards and four touchdowns.
3. Doug Martin Continues His Superstar Resurgence
Tampa Bay came into this season hoping that Doug Martin could find his star power once again that he had in his rookie season. That is exactly what has happened and he is without question one of the better backs in the league this year. Martin will continue his superstar resurgence this week and will put up another 100-yard game with a chance for a touchdown or two.
4. C.J. Spiller Steps in and Dominates Both on the Ground and as a Receiver
After seeing that Mark Ingram went down with a season-ending injury, the Saints are going to rely on offseason pickup C.J. Spiller. He is going to be a matchup nightmare for Tampa Bay and will dominate both as a running back and as a receiver out of the backfield. Spiller is going to show why Sean Payton and the Saints thought he was a good fit in a big way this week.
5. Tampa Bay Comes Out with Another Win to Improve to 7-6
Over the past five or six weeks, the Buccaneers have been showing that they are on the right track. They will continue showing that this week with a big win over the Saints. Winston is leading them back into playoff contention and they actually won't be that far out of contention if they do finish off a win this week.
