5 Bold Predictions for Jacksonville Jaguars vs. San Diego Chargers in NFL Week 12

The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to host the San Diego Chargers in NFL Week 12 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Blake Bortles Fires Four Touchdown Passes and Racks Up 300 Yards

Jacksonville has been seeing flashes of stardom from quarterback Blake Bortles this season and they will see more this week. San Diego has a very weak secondary and Bortles will fire four touchdown passes and record 300 yards. Bortles is in his second NFL season and has been improving each and every week in different areas.

2. Philip Rivers Puts Up Huge Numbers and Outdoes Blake Bortles

While we are predicting Bortles to have a big game, Philip Rivers is going to come out and outdo him. He will throw for at least 350 yards and four touchdowns on the afternoon. San Diego doesn't have the best and most consistent offense, but Rivers has still been able to put up huge numbers throughout the 2015 NFL season so far.

3. Jacksonville's Defense Forces at Least Three Turnovers

San Diego hasn't been too terribly turnover prone this season, but the Jaguars' defense is going to force at least three turnovers today. Jacksonville has improved their defense in a big way and have put together quite a few playmakers on the roster. Rivers and the rest of the Chargers are going to be under a lot of pressure today and they will make a few mistakes.

4. Antonio Gates Puts Up Huge Numbers for the Chargers

There have been some concerns about Antonio Gates throughout the season as he has dealt with nagging injuries. Gates is going to put some of those concerns to rest this week and will put up huge numbrers for the Chargers. He is one of the best tight ends in recent NFL history and will record at least 90 yards and two touchdowns today.

5. Jacksonville Pulls Out a Hard-Fought Victory at Home

Expect to see this game come down to the fourth quarter between these two teams, but the Jaguars will get the job done. San Diego will drop to 2-9 on the season, while the Jaguars will improve their record to 5-6. Jacksonville has made enough improvements to compete against teams like the Chargers and they will get the job done at home.
