The Atlanta Falcons are set to host the Minnesota Vikings in NFL Week 12 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Julio Jones Records 150 Yards and Two Touchdowns
Coming off of last week's loss against the Indianapolis Colts, the Falcons are going to come out looking to dominate early. Julio Jones is going to be targeted early and often in the game and will put up huge numbers. More than likely, he will put up around 150 yards and two touchdowns against a Minnesota secondary that has struggled.
2. Adrian Peterson Will Rack Up 125 Yards, Two Touchdowns
On the opposite side of the field from Jones, is a superstar for the Vikings named Adrian Peterson. He is going to be the workhorse for the Minnesota offense and will rack up at least 125 yards and two touchdowns. Peterson has been slowly working his way back into shape this season and is about ready to put up huge numbers this week.
3. Tevin Coleman Will Put Up Big Numbers on the Ground
Devonta Freeman will miss this week's game due to a concussion, which means that Tevin Coleman will be asked to start. He will do just that and come through with big numbers on the ground. Minnesota doesn't have the best run game and Coleman is going to shred through the Vikings' defense for at least 85 yards and a touchdown.
4. Stefon Diggs Totals 120 Yards and Two Touchdowns
Minnesota has been very happy with the progress that Stefon Diggs has shown throughout the season. He has the potential to be a long-term No. 1 wide receiver and is going to show flashes of that talent again this week. Diggs will rack up at least 120 yards and two touchdowns against an Atlanta defense that has had some issues against the pass.
5. Minnesota Pulls Out a Huge Win Against the Falcons
Despite the talent that the Falcons have, the Vikings are going to pull out a huge win this week and improve to 8-3 on the season. After seeing Green Bay lose to Chicago on Thanksgiving, the Vikings can move back into first place in the NFC North. That is exactly what they will do this week and will send Atlanta to another loss.
