The Washington Redskins and New York Giants are set to face off this week in NFL Week 12 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Kirk Cousins Breaks Out with a Monster Game
One of the top concerns for the Giants this season has been the inconsistent play of the secondary. Kirk Cousins is going to put up huge numbers this week and will give his team a chance to put up massive score numbers. Washington needs him to take control and lead the way for them moving forward, which is exactly what he will do this week.
2. Odell Beckham Totals 130 Yards, Two Touchdowns
Washington hasn't had a very good secondary either, which bodes well for Odell Beckham Jr. He is going to record at least 130 yards and two touchdowns through the air in the game. There is no question that the Redskins are going to give up some yardage and Eli Manning is going to look to his superstar receiver early and often.
3. Alfred Morris Turns His Season Around with a Big Game
Coming into the 2015 NFL season, Alfred Morris was expected to be a workhorse running back for the Redskins like he has been the last couple of seasons. That has not ended up happening and he has had an incredibly disappointing season. Despite that fact, he will break through with a big game and continue turning his season around moving forward.
4. Eli Manning Throws for at Least 300 Yards, Four Touchdowns
While Kirk Cousins should have a big game, Eli Manning is going to one up him. He will total at least 300 yards and four touchdowns against the Redskins' defense and will put his team in an excellent position to get a win. Manning has been very good this season and that will continue in Week 12.
5. New York Picks Up a Big Win and Improves to 6-5
Eli Manning and the Giants are the better all-around football team and are going to come out with a win. If they want to win the division and get into the playoffs, winning this game is pivotal for them. New York shouldn't have too terribly much trouble, but Washington has been deceptively competitive all season long.
