Recently, 'Saturday Night Live' started trimming the fat from it’s cast for the upcoming 40th season of the sketch comedy series. Brooks Wheelan was the first to be let go, announcing his departure via Twitter. Judd Apatow reached out to Wheelan, comparing him to 'Iron Man'Robert Downey Jr, who was also axed from the series.
