Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch Must Return Strong vs. Carolina Panthers in NFL Playoffs

The Seattle Seahawks will likely get running back Marshawn Lynch back vs. the Carolina Panthers in NFL Playoffs action this week and he must return strong with a big game for his team.

Lynch is one of the best running backs in the NFL, although an abdomen injury has kept him out for a good chunk of time. Seattle has gone through many other options at the position, but none of them are as much of an impact maker as Lynch has been throughout his career in Seattle.

If the Seahawks want to pull out a road victory against the team with the best record in the NFL, then Lynch has to be a huge part of their game plan.

Throughout the seven games that he played in the 2015 NFL regular season, Lynch put up solid all-around numbers. He didn't have superstar numbers, but it was largely in part to the injury problems that he was struggling with. Lynch carried the football 111 times for 417 yards and three touchdowns.

Russell Wilson showed against the Minnesota Vikings that he can't handle the offensive workload by himself. Going up against the Carolina defense will be even more difficult for the aerial attack. Having a workhorse back like Lynch on the field will help take pressure off of the passing game which is a must when going up against a defense with playmakers like Carolina has.

Both of these teams have the talent and potential to win a Super Bowl, but only one can come out on top.

There is nothing like experience in the postseason, which is something that the Seahawks have plenty of. They have been to two straight Super Bowls and Lynch has been key to that success.

Expect to see the Seahawks give Lynch the football early and often and don't be shocked if he comes through in a big way for them. He is still "Beast Mode" and will be itching to prove that he is still an elite back.
