5 Reasons Why the Green Bay Packers Will Defeat the Washington Redskins in NFC Wild Card

The Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Washington Redskins in the NFC Wild Card matchup this week. What five reasons can be given to as to why the Packers will defeat the Redskins on Sunday?

1. Aaron Rodgers Is Still the Best Quarterback in the NFL

Throughout the course of the 2015 season, Aaron Rodgers has struggled a bit and the offense has been anything but dynamic. Despite the struggles that he has had, Rodgers is still the best quarterback in the NFL. Rodgers is going to come out looking to prove that point and will find a way to put up a big game and put his team in position to pull out a win.

2. Eddie Lacy Can Still Find a Way to Get Back on Track

Green Bay has been trying to force Eddie Lacy the football in hopes that he can turn his season around. That is still possible, as Lacy is still talented enough to rip off a big game on Sunday. Washington has a decent run defense, but if Lacy gets going there is no doubt that he can have a big game this week.

3. Davante Adams Breaks Out from His Season Long Slump

Whether it has been injury or inconsistency, Davante Adams' second NFL season has been a complete bust. He has not come close to being the type of impact player that the Packers were hoping he would be. Adams can still find a way to break out this week and there is no doubt that the Packers will give hi every chance to.

4. Green Bay's Defense is Capable of Making Big Plays

Perhaps the biggest improvement that the Packers have made this season has been on the defensive side of the football. They have a lot of players capable of making plays and that will show this week. Kirk Cousins is an excellent quarterback, but the Packers will bring a lot of pressure at him and will force him to make mistakes due to quick decisions.

5. The Differential in Experience Between Green Bay and Washington

Mike McCarthy and the Packers have many players on their roster that have been around the playoffs and deep into the playoffs before. That is not the case for the majority of the Redskins' roster. Experience is extremely important come playoff time and that will give the Packers a major advantage this week against the Redskins.
