5 Bold Predictions for Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts in NFL Week 16

The Miami Dolphins will host the Indianapolis Colts in NFL Week 16 action on Sunday. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Lamar Miller Totals 150 Yards, Two Touchdowns in the Game

Perhaps the biggest surprise at the running back position this season has been Lamar Miller. He came into the year on his last chance to prove that he could be a No. 1 back and he has done much more than prove that fact. Miller will continue proving that he is one of the better playmaking backs in the entire NFL this week against a weak Colts' defense with 150 total yards and two touchdowns.

2. Matt Hasselbeck Doesn't Turn the Football Over at All

Indianapolis saw Matt Hasselbeck get off to a quick start taking over for Andrew Luck this season, but has been struggling with turnovers over the past few games in particular and has been dealing with a lot of pain as well. That will not end up happening this week and Hasselbeck won't turn the football over at all. If the Colts want to win on the road, they have to take care of the football and find a way to get their offense jumpstarted.

3. Ryan Tannehill Throws for at Least 250 Yards, Three Touchdowns

Going up against a weak pass defense like the Colts bodes very well for Ryan Tannehill's chances to have a big game for the Dolphins. He has been inconsistent this season, but this week will be one of his big performances. Tannehill will throw for at least 250 yards and three touchdowns on the day and will put his team in position to pick up a big win.

4. Frank Gore Finally Breaks Out with 120 Yards, Two Touchdowns

At this point in the season, the Colts have absolutely nothing to lose with pounding the football on the ground. Frank Gore has shown flashes of stardom, but he has yet to have a huge breakout game since signing with the Colts. He will have that game this week and will run for 120 yards and two touchdowns against an inconsistent Dolphins' defense.

5. Indianapolis Pulls Off a Huge Road Win to Remain in Playoff Race

The Colts will need a loss or two from the Houston Texans to get into the playoffs, but they have to take care of business with a win this week. Chuck Pagano's squad will get that win, but it won't be pretty. Miami will stick with the Colts throughout the majority of the game, but the Colts will make the necessary plays to get the job done and pick up a win to improve to 7-8 on the season.
