Colin Kaepernick Appeals $11,000 Fine for Language After Botched Sexual Assault Investigation

Either Colin Kaepernick is a good dude who is being profiled because he's black and full of tattoos, or he is really good at hiding his crimes. After being cleared in a (allegedly) botched investigation into a sexual assault allegation, Kap couldn't wait to tell people "I told you so" to haters. He had denied any wrongdoing from the get go. Now he's crying foul against the NFL, who have fined him over $11,000 for innapropriate language against Chicago Bears defensive end LaMarr Houston. Kaepernick is appealing the fine, saying he didn't say anything inappropriate.

    Carolina Panthers Coach Ron Rivera is walking a tight rope in the case of defensive end Greg Hardy. The giant pass rusher is in limbo after being deactivated last Sunday. Hardy was convicted of assaulting and threatening his girlfriend, but is appealing the decision. Instead of suspending Hardy, the Panthers are choosing to keep him on the roster, so if he wins his appeal, they can play him. Hardy's case is just one in a long string of domestic violence incidents that have come to light in recent months.
