Carmelo Anthony Joins Baltimore Protestors After Riot for Freddie Gray

New York Knicks superstar and former resident of Baltimore Carmelo Anthony has shown his love of the city and residents by calling for justice and peaceful protests on Instagram and by supporting the protestors in person. The unrest that is still throughout the streets of Baltimore because of the Freddie Gray incident first led Melo to take to his Instagram account and leave a lengthy plea to the citizens. He then joined the protestors for a march to support the community in hopes of justice.

    Newly acquired and also suspended, for domestic violence, defensive end of the Dallas Cowboys Greg Hardy has a hard time keeping his mouth shut. Or better yet his fingers if you will, and his team wants him to stop. Hardy once again went to Twitter and expressed his emotions in a series of tweets attacking a fan of his former team, the Carolina Panthers, that had coined a nickname for a just drafted player and a former teammate. The terrible joke made head coach Jason Garrett call for better judgement from his players while using social media.

    During the years 2008-2012, Josh Hamilton was a star player with the Texas Rangers, albeit one with a struggling personal life. He faced issues with drugs and alcohol but seemed to be on the upswing with winning an MVP award and turning his free agency into a 5-year contract, worth $125 million with the Los Angeles Angels in 2012. His latest drug/alcohol relapse, however, resulted in a loophole that allowed the Angels who didn't want him anymore after the failed experiment to be able to trade him with the Rangers.
