‘View’ Nicole Wallace Backs Jenny McCarthy after Sherri Shepherd Baby Battle?

If Sherri Shepherd tried to back out of raising that baby with Lamar Sally because she realized she no longer had that big View ABC pay check to count on, it all might have all been doubly for nothing. According to the latest gossip news updates, one of the TV show's current co-host's Nicole Wallace seems to be backing both Jenny McCarthy and her comments that Barbara Walters' once revolutionary series will be cancelled by the end of 2016. Regardless of Shepherd's motivations, the comedienne lost her battle to deny support to the surrogate baby she had with her ex-husband, when a judge recently dismissed her claims that she was not responsible for the child since it was technically not biologically related to her.

Although you might think a political strategist like Nicole Wallace would verbally dodge or pivot away from the question put to her on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happen Live! regarding Jenny McCarthy's comments that The View would soon be cancelled, the current co-host seemed to agree with the Playboy centerfold's predictiosn (via E! Online):

"You know I love Jenny McCarthy so much...If we both weren't happily married it'd be super creepy.

"I think in the same interview she said that The View needs to simmer, and I think that was a pretty profound thought."

Speaking of former View co-hosts -- Sherri Shepherd recently suffered a hammer blow in her current custody battle with ex, Lamar Sally, when a Pennsylvania judge ruled that she would have to take responsibility of their child via surrogacy, despite the fact that her own egg had not been used in the process.

As she has throughout the split, Shepherd did her best to play the millionaire victim -- telling Entertainment Tonight that her friends knew that she was really a good person:

"Life is difficult. So you just hang tough and you keep going.

"People who know me, my character, my integrity -- I feel it speaks for itself."

While Sherri and her friends continue to claim that she is really the wronged party, whose story is being manipulated by the media, the attorney for the baby, Craig Bluestein, asserts that Shepherd is the first person in the country to try to legally renege on her parenting responsibilities after actively hiring a surrogate.

Bluestein explained to People that it was paramount that Shepherd not be able to single-handedly jeopardize the integrity of the entire surrogacy system for future non-millionaires that are having honest difficulties starting familieson their own:

"This is very important because gestational carriers need to know that, if they are intending other people to be parents, that the carrier's name won't be on the birth certificate as mother and carry with it all the responsibilities of being a mother, including child support for a child you never intended to parent."

Thankfully, Sherri Shepherd has not been allowed to ruin adoption as we know it just yet.
