Kelli O’Hara Named Theatre in Our Schools Spokesman After ‘King and I’ 2015 Tony Win

Kelli O’Hara has been chosen to be the national spokesman for the Theatre in Our Schools (TIOS) Campaign. The campaign is a joint effort from The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) and the American Alliance for Theatre & Education (AATE). O’Hara will be actively raise public awareness of the value of theatre education & quality programs for all students. O’Hara just might be the perfect person to shine light on the won the 2015 Best Actress in a Musical for her role in 'The King and I.' O’Hara is also up for a Grammy award for Best Musical Theater Album meaning all eyes are bound to be on her.

    UPDATE: Earlier this week we reported that the Ali Fornery Center was attempting to raise funds in order to buy the infamous hate Church Atalh Worldwide Church in Harlem. The church lead by James David Manning is known for using their sign to spread hate aimed at the LGBT community. The church has been up for sale because of past tax debt among many other financial troubles. Now as Ali Forney is getting close to their goal, Manning is threatening to fight back.
