Riccardo Muti Takes Chicago Symphony Orchestra to Korea

Chicago Symphony Orchestra music leader Riccardo Muti may not be returning to the Windy City until February, but that doesn't mean he won't be making music with the CSO. It's being reported that the 74-year-old Naples native will be working with his world famous orchestra in Seoul, Korea on January 28 and 29, before heading back to Chicago for a couple of weeks of shows next month.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts located in Beverly Hills has an thrilling line up the next couple of months that include LA Dance Project's Harbor Me and Debbie Allen's Freeze Frame among others. World renowned choreographers Debbie Allen, Benjamin Millepied, Justin Peck, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Daniel Ezralow show off their talents. Legendary American ballerina Suzanne Farrell will be on hand to launch Dance @ The Wallis on January 24 and stick around to teach a master class. It is an excellent chance to watch a master lend some of her experience and knowledge to the next generation.

    The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) might be going through a $3 million renovation, but that doesn't mean that Louis Langrée plans to take the year off. According to the lates news update, the 55-year-old French conductor has reached out to a who's who of today's most popular classical artist in order to keep excitement for the venue alive during its transformation. Langrée recently announced that he was able to talk Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang and Itzhak Perlman all into dropping by for the 2016-17 season.
