The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against the Chicago Bears in NFL Week 16 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Jameis Winston Goes Off for 350 Yards, Three Touchdowns
While there were some doubters surrounding Tampa Bay's decision to draft Jameis Winston with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, he has shut them up with his play this season. He will have yet another big game this week against the Bears. Winston will throw for at least 350 yards and three touchdowns throughout the course of the game.
2. Jay Cutler Overcomes Adversity to Record a Big Game
Chicago is likely going to have to deal with star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery missing this week's game. Jay Cutler loves Jeffery and playing without him is about as much adversity as the Bears have had to face all season long. Cutler will overcome not having Jeffery to record a big game against a Tampa Bay defense that has been inconsistent all season long.
3. Doug Martin Rushes for 80 Yards, Two Touchdowns
One of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season has been the resurgence of Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin. He had a superstar caliber rookie season but was a huge disappointment after that. Martin seems to be back this season and will rack up at least 80 yards on the ground to go along with two touchdowns on the day.
4. Zach Miller Shreds the Tampa Bay Defense for 150 Yards, Two Touchdowns
If you haven't heard much about Zach Miller, be ready to hear a lot about him this week against the Buccaneers. Chicago is going to need him to be a star this week without Jeffery and Cutler has already shown that he is comfortable throwing to Miller. Miller will rack up 150 yards and two touchdowns throughout the course of the game and will continue making a name for himself.
5. Tampa Bay Wins in a Close Game to Improve to 7-8
As the Buccaneers look to finish the season with an 8-8 record, they will take another step towards that goal this week. They will improve to 7-8 on the season with a close win over the Bears. Neither team is going to dominate the other this week and it should be a very entertaining game for the fans and viewers.
