WWE Star Undertaker Wrestles Turkey on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' [WATCH]

WWE wrestling star, The Undertaker, surprised more than a few people when he showed up to wrestle and "Tombstone" Brad Maddox dressed in a turkey suit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Rolling Stone calls the stunt, "a rare public appearance for a guy who barely speaks (and is undead)." That said, it should not come as too much of a surprise with the Pay-per-View Survivor Series airing in just over a week. Promotions such as this are not completely unheard of this time of year.

The Undertaker showed up in his typically theatrical form shortly after Fallon read an email suggestion from a fan who thought it would be an awesome idea to have the walking corpse of a wrestler "Tombstone" a turkey. The tell-tell Hell's bells that herald the famous wrestler were soon heard, and the large man appeared as though summoned. It was like watching something you might see in a bad horror flick after a teenager hears some absurd urban legend.

"Taker looks pretty good for someone who's 50, and it's pretty astonishing that WWE continues to build major storylines around him," says The Big Lead. I suppose that with 25 years of wrestling showmanship under one's belt, you might learn a few things about holding a crowd's attention. He certainly seems to have picked up a trick or two over the years. Although, honestly, the most difficult part of this latest stunt is probably that he managed to keep a straight face while a guy in a turkey suit gobbled and strutted around him.

What seems even more of a marvel than the Undertaker making an appearance on The Tonight Show, or that he is still capable of causing a stir, is the fact a fellow WWE wrestler would be willing to humiliate themselves in such a fashion. Of course, Maddox's WWE biography notes do admit he is "A shameless self-promoter."

Personally, my favorite part of the entire bit was the terrified look in Fallon's eyes as The Undertaker's hand rested uncomfortably close to his tiny birdlike neck. Perhaps Fallon will be the next Turkey to get Tombstoned?
