Jimmy Fallon won his claim to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live, and worked his way into the living rooms of millions more Americans as the host of Late Night and later, the legendary, Tonight Show. However, Fallon’s success story could have a darker side. It has recently been rumored that Fallon has a severl drinking problem. Fallon’s rumored alcohol addiction has even been blamed for his recent hand injuries.
Radar Online is reporting on an anonymous source who claims that Lorne Michaels, and Bob Greenblatt are concerned about Jimmy Fallon’s drinking, claiming:
“[They] have recently had several very frank and honest conversations about Jimmy. Lorne is extremely protective of Jimmy, obviously. Does Jimmy like to party and have a good time?Absolutely, and there late nights of going out with the crew after the show finishes taping, but it’s not every night.”
The source went on to add that despite Fallon’s onscreen professionalism, NBC is still worried about his future:
“Jimmy shows up for work, on time, and is always a professional The NBC family adores Jimmy, but Bob is monitoring the situation. If he needs to intervene, it will be done.”
The recent report and Jimmy Fallon’s recent string of fall injuries could possible be linked. The comedian has suffered some pretty serious spills lately, severely injuring his hand on at least two different occasions an chipping a tooth.
