Game Prediction: This game could end up going either way with both teams being more than capable of putting up big offensive numbers. Andrew Luck looked much better for the Colts last week against New England, while Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks to throw a football in the NFL recently.
Indianapolis is definitely the better all-around team on paper, but they have yet to play up to their full potential this season. Last week was as close as they have been, although the Saints' secondary is in trouble if they play a soft zone like they have a lot of the season. Luck is back on track and will pick apart the New Orleans' secondary if they give him the time to do so.
New Orleans, on the other hand, is a much better team than many have been giving them credit for. Sean Payton should be given credit for the job that he has done with quite a few issues on the talent front.
Predicting this game is a fairly tough job, although going against the Colts in this game would be a stupid decision.
After seeing the offensive production that they were able to put up last week, one has to imagine that they have figured out the struggles that plagued them early on in the season. The Saints simply don't have enough defensive playmakers to stick with the Colts, which should lead to quite a few points for Luck and company.
Expect to see the Colts come out on top and take another step in the right direction as far as their playoff hopes are concerned.
Indianapolis vs. New Orleans Final Score Prediction: Colts 31, Saints 20
