Immersive Show '8Players' Extends its Run in NYC 2016, The Perfect Gift for Oscar Season

Immersive theater is all the rage at the moment and the show 8Players is the high point of this style so far. In this new style of theater, you are the actor. No longer do you have to sit on your butt and watch as others act out fantasy and oddly perverse little situations. You are there, right in the middle of it all, as it happens. No time to think, only do and because it is so popular, its run is being extended through March of 2016.

Now, 'GOTG; director James Gunn is opening up about bringing Ziggy Stardust back in the Awesome Mix Vol 2 as wells as how Bowie almost had a cameo in the new film.

Bruce actor Michael Cerveris ('Hedwig and The Angry Inch', 'Sweeney Todd', 'Assassins') brought one of the show’s cut songs to life with the help of his country band, Loose Cattle. The track, “Pony Girl,” heard in the show as only as a 45 second a cappella lullaby, now lives on to ride another day in its full version.
