From now until spring, New York City’s famed Carnegie Hall has something for music lovers all across the board. Later this month, the iconic venue will host some of the best brass musicians from The Yale School of Music. In early February, some of Broadway’s best, Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) and Darren Criss (Hedwig and The Angry Inch), will sing along with Cabaret star Alan Cumming for with some Sappy Songs. Later in February, the Hall’s own fellowship chamber ensemble, DECODA, will be heading on over to Bocca di Bacco in Chelsea to kick off the Tertulia Chamber Music series. SiriusXM radio Channel 30 has currently been taken over by tributes to David Bowie. The iconic rocker and actor passed away earlier this week after battling cancer. Now you can hear some of his greatest hits spanning his entire career up to the his farewell release 'Blackstar' streaming on satellite radio. The channel is also playing cover tracks of some of Bowie’s best from artist like Barbra Streisand, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and the late Scott Weiland as well as many more.
