Fox’s Grease Live is almost here and we here at Classicalite are not the only ones are having trouble keeping it together while we wait for the show to start. Recently, Sandy actress Julianne Hough (Dancing with the Stars) admitted that she is had some minor issues by trying to make plain ole Sandra Dee too sexy too soon.
The official TV Guide description for Grease: Live, reads:
“Adaptation of the iconic American musical set in 1959 at Rydell High School, where the aftermath of a summer romance between Sandy, the goody two-shoes new girl, and a greaser named Danny presents coming-of-age challenges to each of their reputations. Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit and Vanessa Hudgens star.”
Julianne Hough seemed to have a little trouble separating the two sides of Sandy while practicing, as she tells US Weekly:
"I got a little too excited!I said, 'OK, you’re right -- let’s tone it down. Let’s make sure Sandy isn’t doing too many hip thrusts.' I get to do it later on in 'You’re the One That I Want,' but Sandy has to get there first."
