Karl Berger's Creative Music Foundation Releases New Compilation from the CMS Studio Archive Project (1973-84)
The Creative Music Foundation has just released a new compilation CD comprised of music from the CMS Archive Project. This will include nearly 500 concerts that took place at the revered Woodstock Creative Music Studio, between 1973 and 1984. NPR's Take Five Melds National Jazz and Poetry Appreciation Months!
According to NPR, a quite valid source, the first poems conceived (or recorded) were recited to music played on the lyre. The division of song and poetry came somewhere after.
