Kelly Clarkson Blackmailed by Dr. Luke? Her Shocking Revelation Amid Kesha Scandal

Kelly Clarkson opened up on Australia’s KIIS 1065 Kyle & Jackie O Breakfast Show about her own experience working with Sony Records' top producer, Dr. Luke, amid Kesha's court battle. The American Idol first ever winner revealed that she was "blackmailed" by Lukasz Sebastian "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and that's the only reason why she stayed and worked with him.

“I get along with everyone I work with, and he’s just not a good guy to me. Obviously he’s a talented dude, but he’s just lied a lot,” Clarkson shared. “I’ve run into a couple of really bad situations like, musically it’s been really hard for me because he will just lie to people."

The 33-year-old singer then said that she had tough time working with him and although she wanted out like Kesha, she didn't have a choice because her album was at stake.

"He’s kind of difficult to work with, kind of demeaning. It’s just kind of unfortunate.” she noted, “Even the last time I worked with him, I only worked with him because literally I got blackmailed by my label. They were like, ‘They will not put your album out if you don’t do this.'”

Kesha claimed that she was sexually abused and drugged by Dr. Luke, and although Sony knew about the situation, they turned a blind eye and didn't do anything to help her.

Although there was a video that surfaced of Kesha denying being mistreated by the producer, she revealed that back then she was threatened if she told the truth.

Clarkson's revelation can potentially back up the "TiK ToK" singer's complaint, as their ordeal while working under Sony is very similar.
