With all the drama that she's going through right now, Kesha wants to clear her head and have a fresh start. The "TiK ToK" singer is ready to make a new album and this time she hopes to do a collaboration with Taylor Swift. Kesha is definitely trying to show a brave face by not letting her lawsuit against Dr. Luke and Sony Records bring her down and hopefully music will be the release she needs.
“Kesha wants to do a double album for her comeback,” the source told HollywoodLife exclusively. “One disc devoted to all new songs by her and the second disc with duets with all the people that have shown her support like Taylor, Kelly [Clarkson] and Zedd among others.”
This exciting idea comes on the heels of a video that surfaced of Kesha's deposition tape that was taken in 2011. In a video obtained by TMZ, the singer will be seen contradicting her claims as she swore under oath denying that she was mistreated by Sony's star producer, Lukasz Sebastian "Dr. Luke" Gottwald.
When asked if she had “an intimate relationship” with the producer, Kesha responded, “No. I don’t know what my mother told to David, but I know Dr. Luke never made any sexual advances at me.”
Kesha then defended her comments on the tape saying that Dr. Luke "threatened" her to not say anything about her being raped and drugged.
An excerpt of her 2014 complaint states, "He [Dr. Luke] threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down, take away all her publishing and recording rights, and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family’s lives as well."
