Kesha's Deposition Tape Leaked: She Swears Dr. Luke Did Not Rape Her

Kesha had been battling her freedom to record new music outside of her exclusive contract under Sony Records. The "TiK ToK" singer claimed that she was sexually abused and drugged by the company's star producer, Dr. Luke, and although Sony knew about it, they didn't do anything to help her. In a twisted turn of events, a video surfaced that Kesha herself denied being mistreated by the producer.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the 28-year-old singer denied all of her current allegations against Dr. Luke. The "heavily edited snippets" showed Kesha being asked about her intimate relationship with Lukasz Sebastian "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and she swore under oath that he never raped or drugged her.

“No. I don’t know what my mother told to David, but I know Dr. Luke never made any sexual advances at me,” she said.

When it was her mother's turn to be questioned, she also said "No" when asked if her daughter had a "sexual relationship" with the producer and if she knew that he had "slipped Kesha a date rape drug."

After the deposition video first leaked in 2014, Kesha's credibility was questioned and she filed a complaint saying that she was "threatened" at that time to not tell the truth.

An excerpt of her complaint states, "He [Dr. Luke] threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down, take away all her publishing and recording rights, and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family’s lives as well."

Outside the court, things were going well for Kesha. She gathered so many support from her fans and her fellow celebrities. Taylor Swift even offered her financial help by donating a whopping $250,000.
