Taylor Swift gave a powerful speech during her recent win at the Grammy Awards 2016.
Even though she didn't mention any names, it was clear that she was targeting Kanye West when she talked about people who will "take credit" for one's "accomplishments" or "fame." So did this inspire her to write her very own revenge song?
Swift is known for her very personal songs, she most especially likes to write about her failed relationships and heartaches. Obviously, the 26-year-old "Bad Blood" chart topper and West were never an item, but that doesn't mean she won't take this feud as an inspiration for her new hit song.
“The only good thing about him picking on her is that it’s giving her good inspiration for songwriting,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife exclusively.
The 38-year-old husband of Kim Kardashian unveiled "Famous" during his Yeezy season 3 fashion show on Feb. 11. It was clearly a diss song for Swift with lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that b***h famous / God damn / I made that b***h famous."
West claims to have made the multi-Grammy award winner "famous" after he interrupted her on VMAs 2009 during her acceptance speech for winning Best Female Video. The rapper disrespectfully grabbed the mic from her hands to share his selfish sentiments.
"Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time," he said on stage. "One of the best videos of all time!"
West eventually apologized to Swift and the two moved on from it. But now he's reignited that feud once again and we may be hearing a Kanye West revenge song pretty soon.
