Katrina Kaif Broke Up with Ranbir Kapoor, is Engaged to Him, Might Be Leaving Salman Khan?

Clearly, Katrina Kaif has too much time on her hands or the Bollywood journalists are waiting for Deepika Padukone to make her annual trek across the tabloid pages because Katrina Kaif is all over the news. Whether she is coming or going, it is hard to ascertain from the Bollywood insiders. To hear them, she is like a Kardashian with an overactive thyroid. Three stories doing the rounds say she's tryting to patch up things with Ranbir Kapoor, is engaged to Ranbir(?) and might be leaving Salman Khan for Ranbir, again?

Aditya Roy Kapur is close friends with both Katrina and Ranbir and, according to Filmibeat, he has been hard at work trying to patch things up. From Filmibeat, "Aditya specially went to meet Ranbir recently and spent some quality time with him. Reportedly, he is trying to patch up Ranbir and Katrina."

Of course, everyone is, by now well aware that Ranbir and Katrina didn't actually break up, that they are very ticked off with each other. The reason? Salman Khan. Obviously, they needed a new fall guy because Deepika Padukone, given her recent appearances with Ranveer Singh would be too great a leap. However, the way Filmibeat frames it, one gets the impression there was more going on than just Katrina doing a film promo. A source said, "Katrina feels Fitoor is a special film for her and so, she wants to go all out to promote it. The plan comprised visiting the sets of TV shows including Bigg Boss. But Ranbir was not in favour of her being part of a show where Salman would be present."

However, this may have lead to bigger things. Reportedly, Katrina is now sporting a large engagement ring on her finger. While,Katrina was sporting this rock, she was saying this, via Filmibeat, "Many times, you want to come out and speak your heart openly and just want to say exactly what you feel at the moment. But from my personal experience, it is better to not speak much about your personal life and speak about your profession. Try and let your work speak for itself because at the end of the day that's what you want your identity to be, and you want your respect to come from your work. That's what should be out there."
