5 Bold Predictions for Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans in NFL Week 17

The Indianapolis Colts are set to go up against the Tennessee Titans in NFL Week 17. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Josh Freeman Gets the Start and Proves He Still Belongs

Due to the injuries to Andrew Luck, Matt Hasselbeck and Charlie Whitehurst, the Colts went out and signed Josh Freeman. He is expected to get the start by most and he has a chance to prove that he still belongs in the NFL. That is exactly what Freeman will end up doing and he will have a big game through the air against a very inconsistent Tennessee defense.

2. Zach Mettenberger Totals at Least 325 Yards, Three Touchdowns

One thing that the Colts have been consistent at all season long is bad defense against the pass. They have not made the necessary improvements in the secondary for a couple years in a row and it is killing them this year. Zach Mettenberger is a talented quarterback and has a few very talented targets, which will result in a big game with at least 325 yards and three touchdowns.

3. Frank Gore Finally Hits 100 Rushing Yards with Two Touchdowns

While the Colts are going to allow Freeman or whoever their quarterback is to throw the ball, they are still going to feed Frank Gore on the ground. He had a big game last week and will have an even bigger game this week. Gore will finally hit 100 rushing yards this week and will also score two touchdowns on the day as well.

4. Tennessee Will Turn the Football Over at Least Four Times

Last week the Titans had major issues with fumbling the football and they have had turnover issues all season long. That will not change this week against the Colts, even though Indianapolis doesn't have a very good defense. Tennessee will turn the football over at least four times throughout the course of the game, which will make it tough for them to come away with a win.

5. Indianapolis Pulls Out a Fairly Easy Victory Over Tennessee

This game shouldn't be too terribly competitive at the end of the day, as the Colts are still a much better all-around football team. Injuries could make this game closer than expected, but the Titans are dealing with some injuries as well. Indianapolis should pull out a fairly easy victory over the Titans this week to improve to 8-8 on the season.
