It looks like her time away from the spotlight has done little for Rosie O'Donnell's relationship with her estranged daughter Chelsea. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former View cohost has all but abandoned the adopted teenager in the wake of Chelsea's reportedly refusing to agree to extreme psychotherapy. Word has it that the current cast members aren't fairing to well without Rosie either. After Raven-Symone and Joy Behar supposedly gave NeNe Leakes a hard time on the show, the former Cosby Show star apologized to the Real Housewives of Atlanta actress for the misunderstanding.
Apparently Rosie O'Donnell hasn't learned that her daughter Chelsea is through letting her ship her off every time they have a disagreement.
The 18-year-old is letting the world know that once gain her mother is threatening to end all contact with her if she doesn't agree to be sent away -- this time to an intensive therapy program in Texas.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail Chelsea revealed that once again she is being told that what's best for her is being separated from everyone she knows and loves for months on end (via Radar Online):
"Rosie and my other mom Kelli [Carpenter, Rosie's ex-wife] want me to go to Texas for an independent living, therapy program.
"For the first 60 days it's very restricted, you can't do anything and it's just strictly therapy.
"After that you move into an independent living program where you get your own apartment and you can have your own car."
It would seem that the current cast of The View has every bit as much trouble communicating as does O'Donnell.
In the wake of NeNe Leakes blasting the latest panel for supposedly being openly hostile to her during her recent appearance on the program, Raven-Symone told E! News that she was sorry if she came across as anything less than happy to see the Real Housewives of Atltnata reality star when she was on the show:
"I feel sad for her. She came to my house party. I don't understand what happened, but that's her right if she felt that way. Just like our opinion, that's her opinion.
"Sorry, girl. My bad."
What do you think of Rosie' relationship with her daughter?
Should she think about trying to communicate with her daughter instead of issuing one ultimatum after another?
Or, is it about time O'Donnell cut her adopted daughter out of her life for not being more grateful?
