It looks like Rosie O'Donnell may be just as unlucky at love as she is holding things together on The View. According to the latest gossip news updates, Rosie's new girlfriend, Tatum O'Neal, was recently seen out on a romantic date sans the League of Their Own star. While O'Donnell's adopted daughter Chelsea confirmed earlier this week that Rosie, who is currently going through a nasty divorce with almost-ex-wife Michelle Rounds, and Tatum were indeed a couple, it looks like their relationship might not be as exclusive as the 53-year-old comedians believed.
During her recent interview with the Daily Mail, published only days ago, Rosie' O'Donnell's own daughter, Chelsea, confirmed that the former View panelist had apparently been dating John McEnroe's ex-wife, Tatum O'Neal, for months:
"I mean I know now, I guess Rosie's friends with Tatum.
"They would FaceTime a lot. I met her once, at the beginning of August, around the time I was getting kicked out of the house."
Unfortunately for Rosie, her bi-coastal girlfriend was recently seen out in West Hollywood at trendy restaurant Zinque on what looked like a very romantic date, while O'Donnell was presumably back home in New York.
One eyewitness in the latest October 19, issue of OK! Magazine claims that O'Neal and the mystery woman looked very much into each other during their dinner:
"They were beaming at each other and touching hands.
"They acted like they were the only two people in the room."
Sadly, Rosie's relationship with Michelle Rounds didn't end on much of a high note either, reports Chelsea, who says that things suddenly imploded last Thanksgiving:
"Rosie and Michelle went away for Thanksgiving with Michelle's family. Michelle was on a lot of medication. Rosie thought she was misusing her medication, she was sleeping all day, every day.
"According to Rosie, on the Thanksgiving trip...Michelle and her family got up and left Rosie alone in the Florida house in the middle of the night. I guess that was the final straw."
What do you think about Rosie's relationship woes?
Is it tragic that someone so funny can't find that special person who truly appreciates them?
Or, is it what O'Donnell deserves for treating her daughter so poorly?
