While it has long been rumored that Rosie O'Donnell was an absolute nightmare to work with on The View, someone from the iconic talk show is finally speaking out about just how bad it really was. According to the latest gossip news updates, former senior producer Jennifer Shephard-Brookman is actually going so far as to sue the League of Their Own actress for spreading false rumors about her that ultimately caused Brookman to be fired after 14-years with the series. Fellow former View costar, Jenney McCarthy is fairing little better these days. Although the former Playboy Playmate seems to be doing well at Sirius XM, her marriage to Donnie Wahlberg is said to fast be approaching divorce thanks to her reportedly immature approach to child rearing.
It would seem that Whoopi Goldberg isn't the only one that found Rosie O'Donnell's time at The View to be far more trouble than it was worth.
Former senior producer, Jennifer Shephard-Brookman, is reportedly taking O'Donnell to court for allegedly spreading false rumors about her that ultimately resulted in the Brookman's termination after 14-years with the show.
In addition, to the emotional stress, Brookman alleges Rosie caused by "berating" and "intimidating" her into compliance on the show, O'Donnell is accused in the court documents obtained by Radar Online of spreading lies about her former coworker that alienated her from her fellow employees:
"Hold Ms. O'Donnell accountable for her malicious conduct in making false and defamatory statements of fact about Ms. Brookman to those in their workplace, which caused Ms. Brookman to suffer intense emotional distress, anxiety, and lack of sleep, destroyed her professional reputation, and led to her termination of employment."
"[O'Donnell] committed her slander per se by falsely accusing Ms. Brookman of betraying professional and personal confidences and leaking certain sensitive information to the media -- an accusation which Ms. Brookman completely denies."
While Rosie O'Donnell may be having her professionalism called into question, Jenny McCarthy is currently having her private life scrutinized once again by the tabloid media.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of OK! Magazine claims that the former View panelist is driving her husband, Donnie Wahlberg, nuts by never taking anything -- even parenting -- seriously:
"Jenny has spoiled Evan rotten since he was a baby...She never says no to him. Then, when Donnie tries to be a good stepfather and lay down some ground rules she ignores him or undermines him.
"He's had it with her refusal to act like a mature, responsible adult. He always tells her to grow up."
