The New York Giants will host the New York Jets in NFL Week 13 action on Sunday afternoon. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Eli Manning Throws for 300 Yards, Four Touchdown Passes
If the Giants are going to come away with a win this week, they are going to need a big game from Eli Manning. He has been up-and-down all season long, but will have an up week this week. Manning will throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns passes in the game and will help put his team in position to pull out a win against the Jets.
2. Chris Ivory Rushes for 100+ Yards, Two Touchdowns
At the beginning of the season, Chris Ivory appeared to be one of the best running backs in the NFL. He has slowed down since then, but the Jets are in need of him to regain his production and have a big game against a struggling Giants' defense. Ivory will rush for at least 100 yards and two touchdowns this week and will be a major workhorse for the Jets.
3. Odell Beckham Jr. Racks Up 125 Yards, Two Touchdowns
We already projected Eli Manning to have a big game, which means that Odell Beckham Jr. will likely have a big performance as well. Beckham Jr. will rack up at least 125 yards and two touchdowns against the Jets this week. It will be intriguing to see how the Jets' secondary plays this week, but they simply don't have anyone capable of shutting down Beckham Jr.
4. Ryan Fitzpatrick Totals Four Touchdowns, 350 Yards
Many have expected Jets' starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to falter at some point this season. He has been an impressive leader for the Jets' offense and has made the plays to get his team into playoff contention. Fitzpatrick will continue doing so this week against the Giants with 350 total yards and four touchdowns.
5. New York Jets Pull Out a Huge Win Over the Giants
While both of these teams are going to be in the game down the stretch, the Jets are going to come away with a win. They are a better all-around football team and their defense is capable of getting a big stop or two when needed. The Giants are going to put up a fight, but will fall in the fourth quarter.
